What a joy it was to wake up this morning and celebrate Mother's Day with Katie. While Katie was getting her hair done this week Brayden and I had an assignment to pick up some groceries. This was a perfect chance to get something for Katie. Boy did we surprise her. Brayden was even able to sign the card........
Friday evening Brayden and I took his mom to Carrabba's Italian Grill for an early Mother's Day dinner. We ordered our entrees and seem to be waiting an extremely long time. As parents you know you only have small windows of rest with the baby. Well that window was closing fast and we were not even served yet. Our waiter approached us to only tell us that they burned our order and it would be a while. Katie and I begin to get nervous because Brayden was ready to go. Also we kept having to flag down our waiter to get our drinks refilled. After we payed and went home I was a little upset so I went to their website and complained. I was amazed to get a call from the owner last night saying he wanted my business and that he was mailing me out a gift certificate. The restaurant was brand new and he wants to keep us as customers. Fair deal but next time we will do curbside.
